The KOOA approach
A style of hairdressing that reinforces an understated and inclusive approach to simple beauty.
KOOA was built on a simple refusal: no shouting, no rush, no one-size-fits-all. Everything that leaves the studio is made with the design of achieving the exceptional, and with a focus on the highest quality product.
The room was designed by architect João Gameiro to reinforce that vision: polished concrete, mirrored walls, two barber chairs. Minimal, so the colour and the conversation are the loudest things in it.
We work mostly with natural, cruelty-free brands such as OWAY (Organic Way), certified by PETA, and we would rather tell you a plan takes three visits than sell you a result your hair will hate in August.
