Designed by an architect
The space was drawn by João Gameiro to reinforce the KOOA idea of understated, universal beauty. Concrete, mirrors, two chairs.

We work mostly with OWAY (Organic Way), certified by PETA, and choose on performance first and ethics without exception.

How KOOA got going
2019
Kooa Hair is founded
Peter Andre and Ricardo Memphus register the salon and start building a colour-first studio in São Bento.
2020
The doors open
A minimal room, two barber chairs and mirrors that line the walls. The studio opens just before the world stops.
2021
Wella National Gold Award
Ricardo is recognised nationally for his colour work, putting KOOA on the map for people travelling across Europe.
